Day 1 - Merdeka Square, Old Market Square Clock Tower, Central Market Kuala Lumpur, Sin Sze Si Ya Temple
This large, grassy square is where we wander around to learn about the city's history and to admire grand colonial architecture. Included is a peek into Malay culture and a scenic walk by the river. We pass the embankment to stop at the early shophouses built in Kuala Lumpur. Take a break, sample a local drink and local cake. Soak in the atmosphere at this local cafe. Duck into an alleyway to the oldest Taoist temple in Kuala Lumpur. Be amazed with the rituals and practises here.
Day 2 - Chinatown, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Petronas Twin Towers
A bustling area with stalls selling knockoff purses, medicinal herbs and even a curious little button shop. Ask your story teller if you'd like to visit a market squished in darkened alleys. Breathe in the sweet jasmine of the flower seller's outside. Step in pass the five-tiered tower towards the inner sanctum. KL's top site is not to be missed. At 452m tall and a beautifully designed park, we complete our experiences with a photo outside the towers.
